There is certain student information that departments are legally authorized to provide; however, the line between what the departments and the University Registrar's Office can provide is often quite blurry.

As a reminder, FERPA overrides all of the below, and only directory information can be provided without student consent.

• Disciplinary actions/good standing
• Prizes and awards

Student Verifications performed by uro 

• Enrollment verifications by term and academic history
• Degree verifications (degree, major, concentration/track, certificate, date awarded)
• Courses taught in English, in-person, dates of attendance, current student address
• Honors and distinctions
• FERPA requests to view educational records
